The Hustle

The word "Hustle" lit up.

Some people in life hustle! You know who I’m talking about, the people who have fingers in every pie. The people hustling to make a buck wherever and however they can.

The hustle. A defining attribute of our current existence. Nowadays, it seems like everybody’s out to make a buck. Why? Perhaps they need the new iPhone, Pixelbook, or gaming machine. Or maybe they want a bigger house, a new car, and an RV they’ll never use.

Who knows why, but there are people out there right now hustling to get what they want, to get what they think will make them happy.

We live to make money, and make money to live!

Then, there is a labor of love.

Laboring

Laboring differs from hustling. It differs in the why. Why something is done. You labor to do something you love. You hustle to make money to afford a life you think you want.

Sure, you might (hopefully) also make money laboring, but the why isn’t the same. Laboring is living the life of your dreams. It’s following your calling. Hustling pays for the life you want, either now, or the one you want in the future.

Do you labor or do you hustle?

Do the people you seek to serve feel that you labor or do they think you hustle?

Ultimately, the difference lies in the why!
