Okay – Right to the point!
Here are SIX YouTube shortcuts I use on a regular basis.
- Spacebar: Press the spacebar to pause/play the video (k also works)
- Left & Right Arrow: Use the left and right arrows to FFWD and REW in 5 second intervals
- F: Press the “F” key for Full-Screen viewing
- T: Press the “T” key for Theater-Mode viewing (larger screen, but not Full-Screen)
- M: Press the “M” key to mute the sound
- C: Press the “C” key for subtitles/closed captions
And that’s it.
Six hacks (shortcuts) you can use when you watch YouTube.
These are especially helpful if you are on a laptop and don’t want to use an external mouse or the trackpad.
